Lilli Logan Arader, LCSW

Welcome. I provide a dedicated space for those who feel traditional therapy has only touched the surface or for whom traditional talk therapy has not worked at all or even harmed. My work is not about helping you "adjust" to a world that doesn’t fit; it is about identifying the external pressures on your well-being and helping you return to your own your natural way of being. To be more specific I specialize in neurodivergent (ND) women and gender non conforming (GNC) people assigned female at birth (AFAB). The kinds of ND I work with in this population are autistic, ADHD, gifted and otherwise highly sensitive people (HSP).

The Framework

Because most (or perhaps all) “high functioning” AFABs who are ND were taught to mask (meaning preform neurotypicality) we tend to have complex trauma from constantly having to abandon ourselves in order to get connection and acceptance. I treat this complex trauma with a series of body based and deeply rooted modalities including EMDR, IFS and AEDP. CBT is often not only not useful to us but can be actively damaging, further teaching us to gaslight ourselves from what turns out to often be profound intution.

The Method: Clinical Synthesis & Nervous System Attunement

I utilize "bottom-up" modalities including EMDR, AEDP, and Somatic Experiencing. These tools are not prescriptive; they allow your core state to reveal itself naturally, much like a plant grows or a spider spins its web.

In our work together, I practice a deep level of nervous system attunement. This allowing me to "tune in" to your experience with an unusual level of precision, co-regulating and processing the somatic weights you carry in real-time. This felt-sense connection ensures we are navigating the work together, rather than you having to carry the intensity alone. Additionally, I provide a specialized synthesis of these models for neurodivergent minds—an area often overlooked in formal training—ensuring these tools actually land effectively and safely in your unique system.

The Outcome: Authentic Alignment

My goal is to provide neuro-affirming care that empowers your natural way of being rather than trying to "fix" it. By addressing the root causes of distress, symptoms often labeled as eating disorders, OCD, depression, or anxiety frequently begin to resolve on their own once the underlying system is aligned. I maintain an intentionally small practice to ensure I remain deeply present and focused for each individual who seeks a direct, and truth-focused approach to healing.
